Kendall St. Ange for an 8-3 win on the second-flight doubles court to pace the Scarlet Raiders' first win of the season.
Rutgers-Newark rolled to straight set victories in four of the five singles matches with
William Cheung earning a 6-3, 6-0 decision on the top-flight and junior
Nate Kijpatanasilp powering his way to a 6-0, 6-0 victory on the No. 3 court. St. Ange notched a 6-2, 6-2 win on the fifth flight.
Cheung and Kijpatanasilp won, 8-1, on the No. 1 doubles court.
The Raiders (1-8) are at Ramapo on Monday at 4 p.m. for their final match of the season.
