NEWARK, NJ – Seniors Estiven Benitez and Robert Campos and junior Mike Trenard have been selected as team captains for the 2010 Rutgers-Newark Men's Soccer team, head coach Kevin East has announced.

Benitez, an 2009 All-NJAC first team selection, and Campos, who ranks among the top 10 Scarlet Raiders in assists, points and goals, are three-year starters for the Scarlet Raiders while Trenard is a two-year starter in the midfield and defense.

The Raiders are coming off of a record setting 13-6-4 season which included the team's first-ever NJAC Tournament victory and its second straight trip to the ECAC Metro Championship Tournament.
