Senior third baseman Furnaguera and junior shortstop Reitemeyer were catalysts for the Scarlet Raiders' 11-7 NJAC record which earned the team a No. 3 seed in the league championship tournament. The duo was named to the 11-man first team.

Earning All-NJAC Honorable Mention were junior left-handed pitcher Billy Cerruti, junior second baseman Matt Connors and senior designated hitter Anthony Yeswita

He led the Rutgers-Newark staff in strikeouts with 66 against just 28 walks in 65 2/3 innings.  He was just named the NJAC Pitcher of the Week for the second consecutive time on Monday.

Connors, who joined Reitemeyer for their 117 consecutive start in the middle infield in Tuesday's 11-9 loss to TCNJ in the NJAC opening round, has drawn 32 walks to push his on-base percentage to .476 while hitting .351. He has stolen 15 bases while getting caught just once while taking part in 27 double plays against just three errors on the year.
