BRISTOL, CT -- It slipped to No. 2 overnight, but Rutgers-Newark freshman forward Daniel Naranjo 's Thursday night goal against Purchase entered September 11 as ESPN's Top Play of the Day!

Naranjo's spectacular second-half score in an 8-0 win over Purchase College, caught on RaiderVision by video coordinator Alex Hahn, caught the eye of ESPN editors and launched as the best play of the day late Friday night.

A major league double-play bumped the Scarlet Raiders' first ever ESPN top 10 on the world-viewed Sports Center show, but it was still being shown as the No. 2 selection on Saturday morning.
